Halloween treat bag

Last Halloween, we were lucky enough to spend the holiday in Seattle with my family. Lil D had the best time trick-or-treating with his cousins...they were so cute! Lil D tells his version here. My sister and I decided to enlist our mom in making the kids matching treat bags...My sister got the idea from her daycare provider and of course we just had to make them too (well, mom did)!

Mom cut out black canvas in large rectangles and then we stamped the kids feet on with white paint.

Add some black dots as eyes...

Some Halloween fabric around the top...add some handles...
and there you have...the sweetest little ghost treat bag...

And the sweetest little trick-or-treator...a little tired after all those houses!

They turned out so cute...(nice work mom).  I wish I could remember the measurements...but to be honest...I kinda just let mom do her thing.  Can't wait to pull it out this year!

I saw these last year when Aunt Bonnie made them and I wanted to make them for my kids. I think I will do just that, thanks for reminding me so I have lots of time!!

Those are adorable. I'm so glad you linked to the party. I look forward to getting to know you better.

I haven't been through all my new followers yet-today and even at that there are so many who I don't think realize I can not get to them because they don't have LINK set up--so I don't know if you are a follower but I hope you will sign up and come often. Comments are how I get to know you.
