went searching for more area rugs
(wouldn't it be nice if I could pay the price for one of these little ones...but get a big one:)
I also did more couch searching. Thanks for your feedback on that one...it wasn't my favorite but Mr. T really liked it...he's more modern/contemporary...I'm WAY traditional...it's fun:)
I tried to remedy some of my bathroom issues...
On Saturday...my bathroom went from looking like this...
to this...
to this...
unfortunately...I have been having some patching problems (where we took out the cabinet, etc) and it obviously wasn't totally fixed as the paint just peeled right off with the tape...it has been a nightmare. I spent part of this evening patching more and priming...I'm hoping I can finally get it right tomorrow, 'cause I would really like this bathroom put back together.
after the bathroom drama...I finally finished painting all the window trims...
(yeah, from the windows we had replaced last December...awesome)
Lil D and I also went on a bike ride...well...he rode his bike...I was on Mr. T's scooter...hopefully soon I will have my own bike back to ride:)
Tomorrow....it's time to start painting the pile o' baseboards Mr. T bought friday night that are laying in the living room calling my name.
I'm linkin' to DIY day at ASPTL

I'm currently in the market for some rugs & can not stand how $$ expensive they are. It's ridiculous what stores charge!
That is SO frustrating about the paint coming off with the tape. You've been working so hard on everything, so it's really too bad you have to do it twice. I hope everything works out well this second go round. Sorry to hear about your bike too :-( That 1st and 3rd rug are pretty--I can't really tell on the 2nd one. Did you decide on one yet?
I saw your link on New Friend Friday! Hi new friend!!
Anywho.... I love painted stripes in the bathroom. It makes it so classy and pretty with nothing but paint! I am painting stripes in my daughters room and I hope they turn out as good as yours!!
Great blog. I will definitely be back :)
Love the stripes. That is a great idea.

Paint coming off with tape is SUCH a nightmare, but the stripes look good! I hope you get it fixed easily! Try taking it off when it's still wet?
