Halloween wreaths

Last Halloween, my mom made the cutest Halloween wreaths...
I decided to scale mine down a bit...but I had to have one!
I already had the excelsior, wood stars, fabric, light bulbs, vinyl and paint.  I bought 2 wreaths, 2 wood plaques, a packet of sparkly bats and the 1 picket fence (cut in half)...I think I spent a total of $6 per wreath...not too bad.

Each ghost got a funny unique face after a coat of white paint (this was a total pain and next time I will figure out a way to spray paint them).  I used a paint pen for all the black then filled in the blue eyes and stippled the pink cheeks.

Each wreath got half a picket fence, a sparkly bat, yellow sparkly stars and a sign with vinyl letters cut on the cricut.

The ghosts were then hot glued into the wreath after they got some fabric around them and the wreath is hung on an inside door with black polka dotted ribbon.

I made an extra for my mother-in-law as a gift for watching Lil D next week while Mr. Thompson and I sneak away (shhhh...don't tell her, it's a surprise)!

Since you didn't post a picture here, I am assuming that you want to know if any of your friends are interested in having you make a Halloween Wreath for them...and I am. So I will be expecting it when you come and visit me in the hospital in a few weeks...

Very Cute

I wonder if you could use something like the clear Christmas ornaments, maybe they have a longer one than just the circles and take the hook thingy that is on the top and spray paint the inside with white paint-just an idea.

I hope you will come by for a visit. I have a Knock Off party every Monday, a Celebrate the Holidays party on Wed and Its So Very Cottagey home tour every Fri.
