A trip around the house...holiday style...

disclaimer: some of these pictures I have posted before...try to enjoy them again!

I have learned a few things about myself while decorating this year...

#1: I LOVE trees...they are everywhere in my home...I'm okay with it...I actually want more

The outside of my house is very boring...I have 3 lit trees and these ornaments hung from my 3 outside lights. Someday I am going to "convince" my husband that he does want to hang lights on the house...

#2 realization: I LOVE red...

everywhere I can put it...I will...

(countdown blocks courtesy of my mama)...

and of course, Santa...courtesy of my step-mama (had this guy for a LOT of years)

(hey...there's another tree...)
Kitchen elf (another oldie from the step-mama)

look...more trees!
(I made the "Noel" and "trio of trees last year")
Here is the ONLY place green collides with red, silver and white.

Typically, green stands alone...

my mama-in-law and I made this tree a couple years ago...isn't that bird so sweet?

snowflake valance stolen straight up from PK...

AND my mantle...I hate when I have to take this stuff down after Christmas...it's just so bare and sad looking....

and one more little tree...with even more red and white!

Oh..and Lil D's advent train (more trees:)...my mama-in-law designs these for LL Bean...then personalizes them...Lil D got one last year...he loves to drive it around and take the trees out over and over...

I LOVE my house at Christmas time...just feels so warm and cozy:)

I'm linkin' to lots of fun holiday parties...you should really check them out!:

Love all your decorations! Especially the little "inn crowd" sign. Going to have to copy that somehow. When you figure out how to convince your hubby that he really wants to hang lights outside, please sell me the ticket. Love your blog, hope you don't mind if I tag along.
Merry Christmas! Tammy
