A little green in my life...since March keeps giving me snow!

I bought 9 terra cotta pots a few months ago and sprayed them all heirloom white...I used them as centerpieces for a primary activity...but was then left with 9 terra cotta pots...I've been trying to figure out how to make good use of them...I used one here...still have 8 left...good night.

Well...after waking up to snow on Friday, I decided maybe it was time to bring some spring inside my home...since it refuses to show up outside.

Enter 3 of the terra cotta pots...

my cricut, some vinyl and lyrical letters cartridge...

I found "season" shapes that looked like herbs to me...

Can you guess what they are supposed to be?

Basil...Parsley...Rosemary
(just go with me here)

Then I bought some of these "pots" that you plant directly into the ground,

some dirt and seeds...

and had Lil D help me fill 'em up and plant the seeds.

He's the cutest helper...I know...:)

We put the brown pots in the cute terra cotta pots and now we wait....
Once I get some sprouts I'll take more pictures...we can't wait for the green!
(and some warmer weather so we can transplant them)

Want to hear the best part of this project...I had the pots and vinyl so all I bought were the seeds and dirt...now that is a cheap project.

MMMM, I can smell them now, great idea! I know what you mean, we still have so much snow on the ground and I'm sure we are not out of the woods yet, we always get more snow here in March!

very cute project! I am thinking that I need that cricut cartridge!
Since you have 6 pots left-they would be super cute with some easter or spring cricutness on the front-then have your little dude help you plant wheat grass seed. It will sprout just in time for eater! They will look super cute in your window!! Very happy and springy!!
(I hope you are ok with me sharing that idea-I just have so much crap in my head-if I can get rid of some of it-it's a good thing :)
If you have a minute-please stop by and say hello. I found your from the Girl Creative

I love this idea! I have several of those terra cotta pots sitting here unused. No Cricut, but I can wing it. ;)
