I finally got the fall decor out last week. We have still been mainly in the 70s with lots of sun, so I haven't felt real "fallish"...but the trees around the house are finally turning, so I figured it was time. Last year I just had my little mantle to decorate, this year...I have a whole lot more space...(yep, wiring still out...someday)

(I found those springy guys at Joanns and thought they would be great to replace the glass tea light holders for the next month.)
and a little fall for the dining table.
I haven't taken the time to make any new decor this year...we are still trying to finish up Lil D's bathroom and my bathroom...and...I am madly trying to make a ton of jewelry for the boutique my family is doing in about a month...priorities right?
We did take Lil D to the pumpkin patch this last week and I'm hoping we can get them carved this week so maybe I can get something "Halloweeny" going on the front porch...but we'll see.

Love it! Especially the mantle area. I miss having a mantle to decorate since we took ours down. I'm hoping that if I don't decorate, fall won't come...
I just saw those little springy guys at Joann's today! Cute :) I love all the built ins and the long mantle - the decorating possibilities are endless!
I don't care if it is still warm outside...once October hits out come the Halloween decorations.
