I can't really believe that Christmas is here again!
The house is ready and gifts are almost done.

I made an advent calendar for this year (you can see it on my blog)...each square is a box, and inside each box there will be an activity to do each day before Christmas. I might also put a piece of candy in. Most of P's presents that I am giving him he will get to open through this fashion, and then he will have an entire day of being excited about that one item. A puzzle, a new book, a Christmas movie that we will then watch as a family (this year it will be a Muppet Christmas Carol...it is my favorite), a music CD that we will then dance to, etc. Since I started this advent, I have seen several options that I think would have been way easier to do (no boxes just pockets... http://kimberlypetersen.typepad.com/photos/things_i_made/advent.html
