Not a funny April's fool joke...

seriously...we got snow all night and almost all today...nice.

luckily, it isn't cold enough to stick to the sidewalks or streets, but it sure is making Lil D unhappy. He got a bike for his birthday on Tuesday and he REALLY wants to ride it. The funny thing, we went back and forth about getting him one for Christmas, but decided that it wouldn't be fair to give him a bike that he couldn't ride because of the cold weather and snow...guess a March birthday doesn't alleviate that problem either...
(that's not his bike...that's the old big wheel...you can see him and his bike here)
(oh...and Miss Sutton Grace...quit bragging about your weather...it's not nice:)

Well...the snow may have slowed the bike riding...but it didn't slow the paint progress...

Painting sisters we are:)

See my red kitchen?

Say goodbye red kitchen...

Ahhhh...much more peaceful!

We still have lots left to do...but the family room and kitchen are done to the point they can be. Tomorrow we will try and get through the living room and up the stairs.

Hurray for painting:)!!!!

I'm linkin to Feature yourself friday...'cause good night someone needs to see all our hardwork:) Okay...I am just missing playing in the parties since it has been work work work the past few days!

Hi, nice to meet you. Popped over from New Friend Friday. Love the new color in your kitchen. Those are some tall ceilings and it looks like you had to stretch. Way to go!

You guys are doing such an awesome job. Painting can be a drag, but with your sister there, I know it's much more fun! Great job, both of you. I love the color of your "new" kitchen (although I think I miss the red because I can remember how much fun it was painting it - we did have a great time doing it together). Love you a bunch!
